#234 "Où comment retrouver le centre ville...."

#233 Or how to find downtown once again.... Donc voilà, on revient un peu comme l'année dernière, tous dans le même appart', Stu encore en train de dormir, Alan, Brian et Bibi soit en train de jouer, de discuter ou de regarder un film.. comme un air de déjà vu flotte... Here we are, looking a lot like last year, everyone in the same place, Stu is asleep, Alan, Brian and I either playing, talking or looking at a movie... Something of a déjà-vu.... On est plus au ground floor mais au 3eme.. même si la vue à plus de superbe, qd même... pas la même chose.. On peut voir notre ancien apart, dans le coin, et d'après Alan: "t'as vu, il paraitrait même qu'ils travaillent, heureusement que ca porte plus le même numéro.. " très drôle.. très fin... We're not at the ground floor anymore but at the 3rd one.. The view isn't the same that's for sure, but it's just not the same... According to Alan : "we can see them working from time to time, can u believe it? working.. That's a good thing that the numbers have changed..." very funny.. Les sortes de dalles géantes ont aussi changé, avant c'était des graviers, je vois pas bien l'intéret mais bon... There's no more lil' rocks in the backyard, I don't know why, no one was complaining... Ils sont entrain de se faire une partie de PES 6.. moi je m'occupe, et me dis que pour une fin de mois de Decembre, il fait 10°c, y'a quasiment pas de vent, un soleil magnifique...(Oui, je sais aussi être super poétique à mes heures et alors :p).. finalement s'est décidé, on ira au cinéma (Alan y travaillant, il peut demander des places gratuites :) ) They're playing Pro Evo (what else...), I'm trying to kill time buy asking myself how nice the weather is for late December, 10°C, no wind, sun is shining.. (yes, I can be a poet sometime...), anywoo, we've decided we'll go to see a movie (Alan's working there, so he can have free tickets :) ) Le temps de rouler jusqu'au centre (d'ailleurs, les tarifs de Bus vont passer de 95cts d'Euro pour 3 arrêts ou plus à 1 €uro.. ca va juste pas être pareil de plus dire "Ninety-five...", ceux qui ont l'habitude comprendrons...), et de voir qu'on est en avance sur la séance... le bar du cinéma, là ou Alan travaille... ils tuent le temps manifestement.... Just the time to drive to city center (and by the way, the bus prices will go to 95cts to 1 Euro.. it just won't be the same to don't say "Ninety-five" anymore.. thise who have the habit to take it knows...), to see that we're early for the screening... This is the bar where Alan's working (inside the cinema)... Obvisouly they're killing time... On va aller chercher un bout à manger du côté du Jervis Center, et là dans l'axe, la "Spire", le point central de la O'connell Street (rue princiaple de Dublin) Going to get something to eat at the Jervis Center, and we see, right in the middle, the "Spire", the middle of the O'connell Street (main street of Dublin) Même si y'a pas de neige c'est qd même un peu toujours Noyel... et finalement, ils optent pour un KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken), chaine qu'on a pas en France, et comme son nom l'indique, avec des sandwichs uniquement au poulet.. Even if there's no Snow it's still almost Xmas.. Finaly they're going for a KFC.. Kentucky Fried Chicken.. we don't have those in France actually, but as the name says, it's only chicken Sandwiches.. Le big Mac du KFC, c'est le "Zinger Tower".. nom qui fait peur mais bon... The KFC's "Big mac" is the "Zinger Tower".. what an ugly name... En mangeant, j'aperçois sur la rembarde les initiales de l'IRA (Armée Républicaine Irlandaise, se battant toujours pour l'indépendance de l'Irlande du Nord)... no comment, je demande juste vite fait si c commun de voir ca, ils me répondent "partout, discret, mais partout..." While eating, I see the IRA Initials on a wooden part... well.. I asked quietly if that's common, they say "well, there's a lot, not big, but a lot.." Finalement on ira voir "Stranger than Fiction" (L'incroyable destin de Harold Crick), très bonne comédie sincèrement! on repasse par chez Alan, qui habite maintenant à 500 mètres du Griffith, et je me prends à me marrer devant les noms en cyrillique des Films du seigneur des Anneaux (il a une coloc qui vient de l'Europe de l'Est) We finally went to see "Stranger than Fiction", nice comedy, really clever.... We're moving back to Alan's (who's now living 500meters away from the Griffith..) and I just smile by seeing those "Lord of the Rings" Russian Dvds (he's got a eastern european rommie..) Il en profite pour prendre ces jetons pour jouer au Poker ce soir, cool :D We were there to take his coins to be able to play Poler tonite, good stuff :D J'avais jamais joué ailleurs qu'en face d'un écran au "Texas Hold'Em".. a ma grande surprise je me suis débrouillé plutot pas mal... I had never played Texas Hold'Em elsewhere than in front of a screen.. and it was a good surprise to see that i was handling things right actually... Au final, ca se jouera sur un dernier coup de folie, Shelly contre moi, tout étant en jeu... elle réfléchira beaucoup, et avec une chance monstrueuse finira par avoir une meilleure main que moi et gagner... Beau 1er essai pour moi qd meme... In the end, it was all about one last game between Shelly and me, everything was in for me, she thought a lot, but she was so lucky to have a better hand than me and won... nice 1st try for me anyway... J'avais même ramené des gateaux alsaciens dis donc, le paquet aura fait un quart de la soirée... I even had taken with me some French deserts snacks.. it'll have lasted only for a quarter of the nite.... Enfin, la bonne dernière surprise, Brian à copyrighté un de ses scripts! And last but not least, Brian has copyrighted one of his screenplay!
